Apple Cinnamon Glade® Sense & Spray® Refill

The Glade® Sense & Spray® and Glade® Sense & Spray® with 360° design offer the ultimate motion-activated fragrance experience, blending attractive design and a Smart Motion Sensor. For added control, a boost button can be pressed at any time for an extra burst of fragrance. Choose from a variety of masterfully crafted Glade® fragrances.

To conserve the refill, the units have lockout settings. Sense & Spray’s lock-out mode is 20 minutes. Sense & Spray with 360° design lock-out mode is 15, 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the switch setting.

FIRST AID TREATMENT: Contains fragrance and ethanol. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately. Do no induce vomiting. If in eyes, rinse with water for 20 minutes. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.

Assembly Instructions. CAUTION: Keep the unit pointed away from you and others during assembly. It automatically sprays a burst of fragrance 5 seconds after assembly to show it is working properly. The unit will then begin sensing motion.

1. Lift front cover.

2. Pull and discard red tab to activate batteries.

3. Push down front cover to close unit.

Use Instructions:

- The unit automatically sprays fragrance when a shadow has been cast upon the sensor. The light will blink rapidly for 3 seconds to warn when it is about to spray.

- After the unit has sprayed, in order to conserve the refill, the sensor will turn off automatically, indicated by the light flashing once every 3 seconds, and will not spray for 20 minutes.

- After the 20 minute lockout, the unit is in active mode and ready to detect motion.

- For an instant burst of fragrance anytime, press the boost button on the front of the unit.

- Use only Glade® Sense & Spray® refills in Glade® Sense & Spray® starter units.

Placement Instructions:

Place assembled unit on a flat surface where upward spray will not be obstructed. Place unit within 1.5 meters (5 feet) of traffic flow.

Helpful Hints:

The sensor may not respond if:

- The room is too dark: ensure sufficient lighting to allow a shadow to be cast upon the sensor.

- The unit is placed directly under a light, especially sunlight: move the unit out of the bright light.

- Sensor on the front of the device is blocked by objects: position the unit so that the sensor is unobstructed.

Replacing Refill:

1. Open unit to access refill.

2. Pull tan refill tab to remove refill canister.

3. Make sure lever is pushed fully up before inserting new refill.

4. Lay refill canister into position over than refill tab and snap into place.

Replacing Batteries:

Open the front cover and insert 2 new AA batteries by matching positive and negative signs.

What is Glade^® Sense & Spray^® Air Freshener? Glade^® Sense & Spray^® Air Freshener is a motion activated air freshener. It is a battery operated device with a built-in motion sensor and concentrated mini-aerosol spray refill.

How does Glade® Sense & Spray® Air Freshener work? The unit comes with 2 AA batteries and a mini aerosol. Insert refill canister into the unit. Canister should be placed on top of the tan pull tab (pull tan tab when replacing refill for easy removal.) Pull the red strip from the battery compartment, position unit upright on a flat surface and the motion sensor does the rest. A concentrated burst of fragrance is released with each spray.

How far away can you be from the sensor for it to still work? The sensor works best when motion is within 1.5 meters (5 feet). For best results, ensure the sensor on the front of the unit is not obstructed.

Will the unit spray with every motion it detects? No, after the unit has sprayed, in order to conserve the refill, the sensor will turn off automatically indicated by a solid light and will not spray for 20 minutes. If you want more fragrance during the lock out time, simply press the boost button.

How long will the fragrance refill last? Each refill provides approximately 340 sprays, which is about 30 days under normal usage conditions.

How long will the batteries last? Battery life depends on several variables. It’s estimated that batteries will last 18-20 hours of device usage, approximately 2 – 3 refills.
